Since the beginning of the Love In the Name of Christ movement in 1977, Christ has been central to bringing together a broad base of Christian churches in a community to minister to the needs of that community.
In the Love INC network of churches, there is a wide variety of denominations. Together, we focus not on theological or doctrinal differences, denominational practices, political or social agendas, but on our belief in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and outreach to people in need In the Name of Christ.
The shared vision of Love In the Name of Christ brings together mainline Protestant, evangelical Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Orthodox churches to minister as the full Body of Christ to people in need.

A large part of Jesus’ ministry was relationship based. He commanded that we show love to one another. At Love In the Name of Christ, this is what we strive to do.
We believe that love is shown through service. Therefore, we create opportunities for Christians to serve. We empower churches. We match resources to needs and work to ensure that needs are met using a relationship centered, hope-filled, and accountable approach.
Our goal is to partner with local churches in service, regardless of denomination. Together, we hope to find ways to serve using our time, our gifts and abilities, and our resources. This partnership will take us on a journey that will transform the lives of those we serve as well as our own!

A Modern Translation
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
